Abstract (from CDS):

High resolution spectra of a magnified bulge star were obtained at the 8 m Kueyen VLT-UT2 telescope with the UVES spectrograph. The source is a bulge giant of baseline magnitude VEROS=18.4, magnified to V≃18.0. These data allow us to derive the stellar parameters of effective temperature Teff∼3800K, gravity log g∼1.0, reddening E(B-V)∼0.7, metallicity [Fe/H]~-0.3 and and [O/Fe]≃0.0 for EROS-BLG-2000-5. The giant appears to be located in the far side of the bulge.
