Abstract (from CDS):
Conti (1999 NewA 4 489) has recently commented on the three-dimensional spectrographic classification system for WN Wolf-Rayet stars proposed by Smith Shara and Moffat (1996 MNRAS 281 163). We present here a response which counters his arguments and reinforces the utility of the Smith et al. system.
