On the spiral arm interpretation of COMPTEL 26Al map features.

Abstract (from CDS):
The signature of spiral arms has been recognized to leave imprints in the 26Al source distribution as observed by COMPTEL. We have proposed a spiral arm model based on HII region observations plus the free electron distribution, supplemented by an inner Galaxy component that reflects the evidence for a central bar. We discuss some of the issues concerning this interpretation.
