Empirical masses and radii for the luminous binary Sk-67 105 in the LMC.

HAEFNER R., SIMON K.P. and FIEDLER A.

Abstract (from CDS):

The detection of optical light variability of Sk-67 105, one of the most massive binaries in the LMC, enables in combination with known spectroscopic data the determination of empirical masses and radii of the components using a light curve synthesis program. It is found that the system is nearly in contact and presumedly passes through Case A mass transfer at the moment. The derived pseudoeccentricity of the orbit may be explained by non-uniform brightness distribution within the system.
