On the sytematic accuracy of the equatorial UBVRI standard stars.

Abstract (from CDS):
The considerable systematic difference in B-V between northern and southern measurements of the equatorial UBVRI standard stars are studied. It is found that the northern data (Landolt 1983) are much closer to the original UBV system than the southern ones. The situation is less clear in the case of V and U-B.
