Abstract (from CDS):

Three Southern star-forming regions - RCW 36, IRAS 10361-5830 and IRAS 10365-5803, have been observed simultaneously in two far-infrared bands with effective wavelengths of 58 µm and 150 µm using the TIFR 100 cm balloon-borne telescope. Intensity maps of these sources have been obtained covering areas of ∼15'x20' around each source, with an angular resolution of ∼1arcmin5. Multiple sources have been detected in each map. Luminosities and dust temperatures for individual sources have been derived. Data from IRAS Pointed Observations at 12, 25, 60 and 100 µm have been deconvolved to generate high resolution maps of these regions and these have been compared with our maps.
