The nebula N103B in the LMC contains parts of two supernova remnants.

DICKEL J.R.

Abstract (from CDS):

The nebula N103B in the Large Magellanic Cloud consists of a previously identified small diameter supernova remnant (SNR) on its northeastern edge and a bright eastern arc with a fainter western shell together covering a total of about 8 x 5' at the canonical distance of 50 kpc. The latter also has a nonthermal radio spectrum and is apparently another SNR. I propose that the small bright northeastern SNR be renamed N103B-NE and the newly identified large SNR be called N103B-extended.
