Revisiting of pulsed γ-ray properties of millisecond pulsars in the pulsar striped winds.

CHANG S. and ZHANG L.

Abstract (from CDS):

The light curves (LCs) and phase-averaged spectra of pulsed γ-ray emissions from three millisecond pulsars are studied in the striped wind model. In the model, three assumptions are made: (i) γ-ray photons are mainly produced in a finite region outside the light cylinder, (ii) relativistic electrons in the finite region satisfy the distribution of a power law with an exponential cut-off, and (iii) inverse Compton process is the main mechanism of pulsed γ-rays production. The Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method is used to look for best fits of inclination angle and view angle, which are two important model parameters after other model parameters are constrained. Our calculating results can reproduce the observed LCs and phase-averaged spectra of PSR J0030+0451, PSR J1939+2134, and PSR J1744-1134 well.
