Supernovae 2011F and 2011G.

NARAYAN G. and KIRSHNER R.

Abstract (from CDS):

G. Narayan and R. Kirshner, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, report that a spectrum of 2011G was obtained at the MMT on Jan. 10 UT with the Red Channel spectrograph (range 320-830 nm). Analysis of the spectrum with SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007) shows that 2011G is a type-Ia supernova about 40 days past maximum light. A similar spectrum of 2011F, analyzed with SNID, shows that it is a type-II supernova, about 10 days past maximum.
