Abstract (from CDS):

We report on the renewed X-ray activity from Be/X-ray binary pulsar 4U 0115+63 observed with MAXI/GSC. The source flux in 2-20 keV band was 34 ± 15 mCrab on 2011 October 10.844, and stayed at the same level till October 11.281. On October 11.344, the source exhibited the rapid increase in higher energy band, and its flux in 2-20 keV band reached 67 ± 16 mCrab. The current X-ray activity of this source is the third detection of MAXI/GSC following the previous report (Atel#3430). The flux increase of the previous event started from the orbital phase ∼0.97, and also the present outburst started at the same orbital phase ∼0.99 (the orbital parameters are derived from Raichur et al. 2010). Thus, there is a possibility that the current activity of this source would develop into the new giant outburst.

The latest source flux can be checked at the following page; http://maxi.riken.jp/top/index.php?cid=1&jname=J0118+637.
