More Wolf-Rayet central stars of planetary nebulae identified on the AAO/UKST Hα survey.

PARKER Q.A. and MORGAN D.H.

Abstract (from CDS):

The central stars of another four of the new planetary nebulae found during scans of the Anglo-Australian Observatory/UK Schmidt Telescope Hα survey of the Milky Way have been found to exhibit Wolf-Rayet emission features. One (PM4) is a [WC8] star; the other three are early-type stars of class either [WC4] or [WO4]. One of the [WC4] stars (PM3) exhibits unusual spectral features such as those found for PMR1 by Morgan, Parker & Russeil, which may be attributed to enhanced nitrogen in its atmosphere and could be indicative of unusual stellar evolution. The nebula around PM3 has a bright, dense, high-excitation core. Supplementary photometric data are consistent with the objects being planetary nebulae.
