Abstract (from CDS):
We present the first radial velocity curve for the Hipparcos variable DX Ceti. Fundamental physical parameters (Teff, log g, [Fe/H] are derived using mean Stromgren indices and recent synthetic colour grids. We suggest that DX Ceti was misclassified (as belonging to the RRc class) and it is a monoperiodic, high-amplitude delta Scuti star.
