Abstract (from CDS):

We carried out spectroscopic observation of the HeI 5876 A emission of Herbig Ae star AB Aur for about one month. The HeI profiles revealed rapid and remarkable variation. For our analysis, this variation may be explained by some longitude-dependent structure of cold absorbing material around the stable expanding chromosphere of AB Aur.
