A series of faint spectrophotometric standard stars at +33° declination.

HICKSON P. and MULROONEY M.K.

Abstract (from CDS):

We have obtained spectrophotometry in the wavelength range 350-920 nm for 21 15th magnitude stars. These stars have right ascension at 30 minute intervals in the range 8-18 hr and declination near +33°. Mean magnitudes are presented at 5 nm intervals, with calibration derived from Kitt Peak secondary spectrophotometric standards. Typical internal and absolute errors are estimated to be less than 0.02 and 0.05 mag, respectively. The sequence was established in order to provide calibration stars for drift-scan observations of a strip of sky centered at this declination. Because the stars are relatively faint and span the north Galactic cap, they should be well suited to the calibration of other data sets.
