H-beta photometry of southern luminous stars.

Abstract (from CDS):

H-beta photometry for 116 stars listed in Stephenson and Sanduleak's (1971) catalog of _Luminous Stars in the Southern Milky Way_ is reported. The vast majority of these objects are O and B-type stars; a few are A, F, or Wolf-Rayet stars. A systematic difference of on the order of 30 mmag between the present results and those of other investigators is noted.
