Abstract (from CDS):

Possible evidence has been found for a seventh high energy gamma ray pulsar, PSR B0656+14, pulsating in gamma rays at E≥50MeV with the same 384.9ms periodicity as in radio, using the data obtained during April, 1991 to December, 1993 by the Energetic Gamma Ray Experiment Telescope (EGRET) aboard the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory (Ramanamurthy et al. 1996ApJ...458..755R). The pulsar appears to have an efficiency ∼0.001 in converting its spin-down energy loss rate into high energy gamma-rays at E≥100MeV. This efficiency is inconsistent with a general trend found for the other six pulsars seen by EGRET.
