Abstract (from CDS):

We used the Orbiting Retrievable Far and Extreme Ultraviolet Spectrometer (ORFEUS) to study the spectrum of the WN5 star EZ CMa between the Lyman limit and 1170A with about 0.35A spectral resolution. The observed spectrum is dominated by a dense forest of P Cygni-type lines. For 25 of these features identifications are suggested. The observed line widths and absorption component velocities are consistent with the predictions of current W-R wind models. In addition to the stellar features interstellar atomic and ionic absorption lines and the Lyman and Werner bands of molecular hydrogen are conspicuously present.
