Notes (1) :

[I82] Em* 3 (change comment and improve position?) I have confirmed that the optical/IR counterparts of this object (as confirmed through examination of DSS and the finder chart in Irvine 1982) is [I82] Em* 3 = USNOA2.0 0150-10339455 = USNOB1.0 0205-0312137 = IRAS 12345-6910 = GSC2.2 S2131032114663 = NSV 19435 = 2UCAC 01851965 = PDS 62. There is a SIMBAD comment that this object is *not* PDS 62, *however* Gregorio-Hetem+ (1992) [which published the PDS list] says that PDS 62 = IRAS 12345-6910, and that the optical counterpart has Vmag=14.31 and Rmag = 13.25. The IRAS position is within 2.5" of the positions of the 2MASS, USNOA2.0, USNOB1.0, and 2UCAC counterparts listed above. The star has Rmag=14.8 (USNOA2.0), Vmag=14.8 (GSC2.2), Rmag=14.1 (USNOB1.0), which matches Gregorio-Hetem's PDS 62 perfectly. Persi+ 1990 find that the near-IR counterpart to IRAS 12345-6910 has Jmag=10.2 and Kmag=9.4, which matches the 2MASS counterpart adequately (Jmag=10.45, Kmag=8.2), considering that the object is called a variable star. So PDS 66 is almost certainly IRAS 12345-6910! I recommend adopting the UCAC2 position.
