According to Sulenti et al. 1973, catalogue VII/1B/catalog in VizieR, NGC 2818 is the Open Cluster, while NGC 2818A is the Planetary Nebula. In the literature both objects are most commonly given the same name - NGC 2818 (see e.g. the abstract of 1972MNRAS.158...47T). The bibliography and data of both objects in SIMBAD have been cleaned in September 2022. Authors are invited to use the right identifier for each object in order to stop to spread this historical confusion.
